She’s an uptight overprotective birdmom who loves to teach Steven things and spends half her time being frustrated with Amethyst and gets genuinely upset when Steven tries to make a pun about butter because she doesn’t understand why he’s saying she did something she didn’t and she blushes when Steven complements her and she hides behind Garnet when something upsets her and she refuses to drive improperly in video games and she thinks really highly of herself but she also is really jacked up and horribly vulnerable about sensitive subjects and she laughs waaay too much about jokes she finds funny and when she’s supposed to be making noise while watching fireworks she just gently taps some a wood spoon on a glass baking dish and blushes while asking how her volume is and I’m just ????
She’s just so sweet and obnoxious and loving and quiet and safe and emotional and flawed and is a bird and just everything she does makes me happy (aside from when I’m bawling my eyes out over Roses’s Scabbard but that also makes me happy, you know in the way where you’re upset and crying but like the good kind of upset and crying)
