the gemsona trend is one of the most positive, awesome things that’s come out of a fandom. Not only are people making these super artistic and beautiful designs, they’re interacting with a show on a personal level that focuses on their individuality AND strengths! Not only that but there are fusions all over the place, which is basically people celebrating their friendships with art, something that used to be seen as negative
in fact drawing yourself has had negative connotations for narcissism, being self absorbed, etc etc for YEARS.
but now its being celebrated! which is awesome, and i’m super super glad how popular it is
